O2Champ™ General User Guide

Breathe Better. Train Smarter.

Getting Started with Your O2Champ

Congratulations on purchasing O2Champ™ — an advanced respiratory training device designed to strengthen your breathing muscles during physical activity and enhance overall performance.
How O2Champ™ Works
O2Champ™ combines mechanical resistance, low-frequency air vibrations, and physical exertion to stimulate and optimize multiple bodily systems. These include:

1. Adjustable resistance to exhalation

2. Low-frequency vibration during exhalation

3. Exercise intensity during physical activity

This synergy produces both therapeutic and performance-enhancing effects across your respiratory, cardiovascular, autonomic, and circulatory systems.

Key Benefits

  • Strengthens and builds endurance in respiratory muscles
  • Keeps airways open and reduces bronchial collapse
  • Encourages deep inhalation and extended exhalation
  • Enhances airway clearance and mucus expectoration
  • Improves lung ventilation and oxygen efficiency
  • Increases vital lung capacity and activates underused lung areas
The O2Champ™ is compatible with a wide range of physical activities, allowing you to maintain natural movement patterns while enhancing your overall training effect.

By adjusting training intensity, you can fine-tune levels of hypoxia (reduced oxygen),
hypercapnia (increased carbon dioxide), and oxygen utilization rate, helping to:

  • Improve external respiratory function
  • Accelerate adaptation to physical stress
  • Enhance performance at simulated altitude (“mid-mountain” conditions)
  • Enhances airway clearance and mucus expectoration
  • Speed up recovery after interval training
  • Activate anaerobic energy systems during aerobic workouts

Pro Tip:

Use a heart rate monitor to track progress and measure exertion accurately

Tips and Recommendations

For Professional Athletes
Sample Training Protocols
Professional Athletes:
  • 3–5 min warm-up with O2Champ
  • 20–30 min with O2Champ
  • Continue with your training program
Note: In the first 4–5 sessions, it might be difficult to fine-tune resistance. Just aim to activate the vibration effect during exhalation and get used to it.
  • Start with 10 minutes per session
  • Maintain heart rate at 110–120 bpm
  • Gradually increase to 25 minutes (max 30% of total workout)
! Important: Recreational users should not exceed 120 bpm while using the trainer!!!
  • Choose a type of physical exercise (e.g., walking, jogging, gymnastics) to use the trainer with. Using the O2Champ while stationary may lead to hyperventilation, which can cause dizziness. •
  • Setting the Trainer to “Snorting Mode”
  • Exercise Recommendations • Perform your chosen physical activity using the trainer for 10–15 minutes. • Maintain a heart rate of no more than 140 beats per minute during exercise. • For best results, use the trainer twice a day.
